
Recreation and relaxation take the forefront at the Docks at Caney Creek, a new community on the shores of Watts Bar Lake, just outside the historic town of Kingston. Tucked into a natural landscape of rolling meadows and forested hilltops, the community is in its third and final phase, with 198 homesites recently released for purchase.
Watts Bar Lake, with 39,444 acres of water surface and more than 844 acres of shoreline, offers a wealth of recreational activities, including boating, jet skiing, sailing, swimming and fishing.

Rocky ridges, abundant forests and meandering waterways characterize the Cumberland Plateau of the Appalachian region, which extends from Northeast Alabama through the middle of East Tennessee and into Southeast Kentucky and parts of West Virginia.
Technically, the Cumberland Mountains are located in the northeast section of the plateau at the corner where Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee meet.
