Docks at Caney Creek:
‘In perfect balance with nature’

Recreation and relaxation take the forefront at the Docks at Caney Creek, a new community on the shores of
Watts Bar Lake, just outside the historic town of Kingston. Tucked into a natural landscape of rolling meadows and forested hilltops, the community is in its third and final phase, with 198 homesites recently released for purchase.
“All of our homesites are in perfect balance with the nature that surrounds them, providing tranquil surroundings and exquisite scenery,” says Josh Wilson, marketing coordinator for Land Resources Co., the community’s developer.
Amenities at the Docks at Caney Creek include a clubhouse, pool, nature and walking trails, tennis courts and covered and uncovered boat slips for residents’ various watercraft.
Watts Bar Lake, with 39,444 acres of water surface and more than 844 acres of shoreline, offers a wealth of recreational activities, including boating, jet skiing, sailing, swimming and fishing.
Wilson notes that the lots in the new neighborhood offer a variety of views, from lake frontage to mountain views and lake views. The lots range from approximately three-quarters of an acre to one-and-a-half acres. Lot prices range from $48,000 to $199,000.
“This serene lakeside community has a thoughtful and generous selection of amenities, and it is convenient to Knoxville, away but not too far away,” Wilson suggests.
Established in 1997, Land Resource Companies creates unique residential communities that preserve and showcase the natural beauty of their settings.
To reach the development, follow Interstate 40 West out of Knoxville and take Exit 350. Turn left off the exit and then right at the first traffic signal. Travel three miles, turning left and following Caney Creek Road for 2.3 miles to the community’s gated entrance. For more information about the Docks at Caney Creek, call 866-792-LAND (5263) or visit
